The D-Link DP-101 is an Ethernet Print Server that attaches directly to a parallel printer. The DP-101 manages the flow of print files from network workstations or servers to its connected printer, freeing file servers and workstations from printing tasks. Its IEEE 802.3 Ethernet port and IEEE 1284 parallel interface allow it to connect virtually all Parallel printers directly to an Ethernet based LAN. The DP-101 provides the necessary advanced features, wide protocol support, and ease of use to fit well into networks ranging from small home networks, to the largest enterprise networks.The DP-101 ships complete with all the necessary software and drivers to attach to most PC or MAC networks.
